Expect overnight lane restrictions on US 60, SR 260 in Show Low through Sept. 22 as work continues on paving project

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for continuing lane restrictions on US 60, locally known as Deuce of Clubs Avenue, and State Route 260, locally known as White Mountain Boulevard, in Show Low through Friday morning, Sept. 22.
Drivers should allow extra travel time while the following overnight restrictions are in place along US 60 weeknights from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
• US 60 will be narrowed to one lane only with alternating east- and westbound travel approximately between Rim Road and Clark Road (mileposts 336-340) for concrete work.
• On-site flaggers will direct drivers through the work zone.
• The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.
• The restrictions will be lifted each day after work hours.
In addition, drivers should plan for overnight restrictions from Sunday evening, Sept. 17, through Wednesday morning, Sept. 20, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
• SR 260 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction with alternating lane restrictions at the intersection of Show Low Lake Road for traffic signal work.
• Drivers will need to slow down and merge safely when entering the work zone.
• Restrictions will be lifted each day after work hours.
